Family Portrait Session
September 13th, 2009
It was great to meet up with this lovely family once again a few weeks back and really good to be able to try out a new nearby location - I always feel inspired by new locations!
I’ve had the pleasure of photographing the gorgeous Matilda since she was a baby and she just gets more and more gorgeous every time I see her - lots of fun too!
I can’t wait to get designing a beautiful album for these guys.

Faith
August 27th, 2009Oh dear, the summer madness has been getting the better of me and I’m rather late at posting this sneak preview!
It was great to meet little Faith, a true bundle of joy and such a happy little thing at only 8 days old for her first photo session in the comfort of her own home. Mum and dad were great too, really up for trying out my ideas and happy to move the furniture around in their living room to get the best natural light (thanks guys).
I had lots of fun & couldn’t stop laughing to myself for ages about Faith’s little accident on daddy!!!

Family Portrait Session
August 14th, 2009Max
August 4th, 2009It was a great pleasure to meet handsome little Max the other day. He did have rather a different agenda to mine however, i.e. one that didn’t involve being posed for photos! With lots of patience and his super mummy on hand for comfort hugs we managed to get some lovely images. Here’s one of my favourites:
Let me know what you think.

May 4th, 2009Having a little look through my posts the other day I noticed that almost every one has a mention of the weather. Well, it is a pretty important factor with most photo shoots taking place outdoors on location - it’s not so much of a problem for me getting wet (although I prefer not to) but it’s not often what clients have in mind when they book the session!
On this particular day I had already been forced to sit outside my house, in my car, unable to get out because of a torrential downpour of hailstones! Talk about April showers… I had serious doubts as to whether the shoot would go ahead but with a few hours to go I just crossed my fingers and hoped it would pass.
Fortunately, the weather held off just long enough to get these great pictures of Jack & Harry in their garden, but not long enough to stop me from getting soaked on the way back to my car!
Clare & Dan’s pre-wedding photo shoot
April 25th, 2009
A couple of weeks back I photographed Clare and Dan for their pre-wedding photo shoot at the beautiful water meadows in Winchester. Luckily we missed the forecast showers and I had a great time capturing some beautiful, natural shots of this lovely couple.
Kay and I are so looking forward to capturing the magic on their very special day next week.
Here are a few of the images:
Busy April …
April 25th, 2009Well April has proven to be a very busy month for me with a fabulous variety of portrait sessions from babies to commercial. So I really have had a great time this month, doing what I love to do, being out there with a camera in my hand! I also love the post production side, but it can get a bit behind at busy times, like now and just like this blog!
Thought you might be interested in an image I took last April - you would never believe it based on the gorgeous weather we’ve had this April!
